An event called "Ауғанстан ардагерлеріне тағзым" was held at the Higher Medical College of the city of Zhezkazgan. The main guest of the event was Bimuratov Kaisar Amangalievich, who took part in hostilities and military conflicts on the Tajik-Afghan border.
Purpose: We try to teach schoolchildren to love their Motherland, to be proud that they were born and raised in Kazakhstan. Even in today's peaceful world, students should know that in one corner of the globe a war is raging, where innocent people are dying, what kind of people are doing great things to protect them.
During the event, students listened to veterans' stories about the Afghan war and asked questions.
